Frame Your Photo in Photoshop CC

Photoshop CC has several frames y'all can lay over peak of a photo. By adjusting the layer way of the frame you tin can create a unique blueprint that enhances the picture. Try information technology!

Experiment with Layer Styles to Create a Unique Frame

Open up a new document in Adobe Photoshop CC.
Insert a photograph of your selection. From the File carte du jour, click Identify Embedded. Select the film and click Place.
Position the photo on the folio. Resize the photo, past clicking and dragging a corner handle.
When the photo looks like fashion you like, click the COMMIT tool on the Options bar (information technology looks like a checkmark).
Make a new layer. From the Layers console, click the Create a new layer tool (it looks like a piece of newspaper at the bottom of the Layers panel).
Double click the new Layer and rename it Frame. The Frame layer should be at the TOP. If it isn't, elevate information technology Upwards in the Layers panel.

Make a new layer. Rename it FRAME.

Select the Frame layer. Click the Custom Shape Tool from the Tools console.

From the Options bar, select SHAPE, and then pick a fill colour, stroke colour, stroke thickness, and stroke style.
Click the Custom Shape arrow on the Options bar.

Click the Shape arrow on the Options bar.

Click the Custom Shape menu picker (it looks like a gear).
Select Frames from the list. If you are asked to replace the current shapes, click OK.

Display the Frames custom shapes.

Click and drag to draw a frame over the picture. Click COMMIT when you lot similar it. TIP: To resize or move the frame, click the Motion tool from the Tools panel.
Make the frame expect not bad past adjusting the Layer Mode. From the Layer carte, select Layer Style. Select Satin.
Experiment with the Alloy Mode, Opacity, Angle, Altitude, Size, and Contour to create a unique pattern. To reset it back, click Reset to Default.

Double click on any Style proper name on the LEFT side of the dialog box to utilise even more than layer styles. Here are some ideas:

Bevel & Emboss – Select Inner Bevel to produce a unique 3D effect. Adapt the Profile and Texture to make the frame look dandy!
Outer Glow – Select a Normal Blend Manner and change the opacity to 100%. Selection WHITE. Adapt the Spread and Size to brand it look like their is matting inside the frame.
